Created by Claire Osterstock is a Physiotherapist in Adelaide, Australia, with a special interest in helping women and men with the management of pelvic pain. Claire was often asked for advice on personal lubricants, but was disappointed with what she could see on the market. So Claire teamed up with a compounding pharmacist and went about creating a new, all-natural, intimate cream.

Pure beeswax is used as the natural thickener in this luxe lubricant, adding anti-inflammatory properties and a great scent. Both olive oil and beeswax are anhydrous, which means they have low water activity. That means nasty bacteria, fungi or mould cannot grow.
Olive and Bee personal lubricant is made with a base of extra virgin olive oil, making it naturally antibacterial, anti-fungal, and high in antioxidants.
Please note: As this lubricant is oil based it is not condom compatible and it is not recommended for use with silicone products either.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil was chosen as a base, as it is naturally antibacterial and anti-fungal, and is high in antioxidants, hence is self-preserving without the need to add chemical preservatives. It was formulated with beeswax as this is a natural thickener with anti-inflammatory properties. Both substances are anhydrous, which means they have low water activity, hence don’t grow nasty bacteria, fungi or mould. The low water content also means that they won’t interfere with vaginal pH as other substances can.
